It has excellent adhesion to the substrate. After hardening, it creates a hard coating suitable for filling. The hardened surface is resistant to water, petrol, oils, greases and short-term elevated temperatures up to +80°C.
- Degrease the filled surface with DRAGON “Acetone”, sand, remove dust and clean. After thorough cleaning, degrease the surface again and then dry thoroughly.
- Carry out work at a temperature from +10°C to +30°C (air temperature, temperature of all set components and repaired components).
- Prepare a suitable piece of glass mat so that the mat extends at least 2 cm beyond the edge of the damaged area.
- Mix 100 g of resin and 2-3 g of hardener thoroughly until uniform in color.
- Apply the resin mixed with the hardener with a brush within 10-15 minutes (at a temperature of +20°C) after preparing a uniform mass.
- Apply the mat, press and saturate with resin using a brush. Depending on the damage, you can apply several layers of the mat by repeating the above steps.
- The surface hardens after approx. 45 minutes at +20°C.
- After hardening, the laminate surface can be machined or leveled using DRAGON “Universal Putty” or DRAGON “Finish Putty”. Sanding should be performed with P80-P120 sandpaper.
- Clean tools after work, e.g. with DRAGON “Acetone” or DRAGON “Nitro Thinner”.
- After finishing work, close the resin and hardener packaging tightly.
