Advantages of the Charger:
Minus Delta V Method:
A method using the fact that the voltage on the loaded cell is lowered slightly (-Delta V) as soon as it is fully charged and the charging process is completed.
Maintenance charge:
Prevents the natural self-discharge of rechargeable batteries.
Temperature control:
The temperature of the rechargeable batteries is measured during charging. If it rises above a certain level, the charger will turn off automatically.
Automatic Li-lon detection:
Detects the cell type (Li-Ion/NiMH) and charges Li-Ion batteries with a voltage of 4.2 V. Allows charging current up to 1000 mA for high capacity cells (> = 1000 mAh).
